Farewell to Prof. Adolf Götzberger

It is with great sadness and gratitude that we bid farewell to Prof. Adolf Goetzberger, who passed away at the age of 94. As a visionary mastermind, Adolf Goetzberger, together with his colleague Armin Zastrow, first published the idea of agrivoltaics in 1981. He was also a key pioneer for the general use of solar energy. We bow to the life's work of Adolf Goetzberger and will carry on his legacy.

Position paper on the EEG 2023

The German Farmers' Association (DBV), Fraunhofer ISE, and Kehl University welcome the increased support for agrivoltaics in the EEG 2023 in a joint position paper. However, more targeted support and simplifications of the approval processes for agrivoltaic systems are still necessary.
